Media, Media, Who’s Creating the Media?
I have been doing my best to actually keep up with the media streams relevant to the Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Seattle, 99% and Global Revolution Day (Oct 15th for those of you who missed it). For the first time in my life I am actually really interested in the independent media being produced by protesters on the streets of the world. For those of you who did not know, I participated in the WTO actions just prior to my move to Seattle in 2000. My despair and upset abut the difference between my actual experiences and the media coverage I saw on mainstream media is what started my initial intentional block against consuming mainstream media. So the sheer amount of indy media being created on smart phones and laptops has been mind blowing and i am doing my level best to stay balanced in my desire to stay awake and aware of the world wide class revolution that is occurring and my need to create my own media and do my own work.
One of the things that consistently baffles me is the characterization of the protesters as aimless, unfocused or without clear demands. This makes no sense to me because I researched and found the “Demands of the General Assembly” the day it was released on Sept 29th, 2011. I was moved to tears by the video of Keith Olberman reading the demands because they are so powerful and resonate so strongly with my own beliefs. I recognize that my beliefs and values as a self identified working class anarcho-feminist have rarely ever been reflected in media that I was not creating myself. So I get that my deep emotional reaction is a relief at being seen. Being made visible. I am full of hope and excitement that there are people everywhere across the globe reaching out to each other for economic justice.

My Dear Friend and Peer Betty martin is proud of her son Logan for choosing to be a full time activist. If you support the Occupy movement and want to contribute but are not able/willing to be on the front lines another powerful way to contribute would be to send financial support to Logan. This link was written by Betty and her daughter Bonny to let you know the best ways to support Logan and also includes an update he is sending about his experiences in New York at Occupy Wallstreet.
Support Logan so he can continue our progress toward Social & Economic Justice on the streets of New York City

There are many things you can do to be part of this growing movement—and only some of them involve sleeping outside.

The Truth about Living Love Revolution Part 2
While I was still in California I took the time to start a blog post inspired by stories from the Occupy & 99% Movement. I sent you all a blog about releasing shame related to being poor, not having healthcare and struggling to pay rent. I am still struggling to pay rent and phone bill and I imagine that that will go on and on as it always has. Rather than be upset, depressed or angry about economic injustice all the time, I direct my attention to creating loving community with others. I do indeed in reality live by a love ethic. Over half of my clients now are trading and bartering with me for at least part of the cost of my services if not all of it.
I am choosing to focus a significant part of my time and energy creating a pleasure filled and sustainable life that is an alternatives to the working class poverty my family of origin is still trapped in back in North Ridgeville, Ohio. This life is absolutely dependent upon education, access to technology and coasting in the financial wake of people wealthier than me who give me access to social networks that are beyond my financial means. One of my deepest desires is to live in community that is egalitarian, ecologically focused and involves permaculture and activism. My focus is on building community around merging with Mycellium/mushrooms, Radical Bee-Loving Apiculture and the understanding that we are Stardust. If you resonate with this please connect with me.
Throughout the winter I will be having salons and small gatherings to talk with others who share this vision and then I will be creating communities with them. Right now I am seeing myself rotating through 4 locations, 1)Seattle/Kenmore- Ursa Manor, 2)Eugene, Or Tinehouse with Erik DeBuhr and Venus Fay 3)Sonoma/Marin, CA Where Robyn Lynn & Rick & Michael Theile’s Gaibees work exists 4) Austin, TX with Stephanie Martin.
She is Here! The Presence of the Divine Feminine
So I am back from California and I no longer plan to move there. I enjoyed all of the amazing events I participated in.The Fellowship of Isis yearly convocation included many rituals and over 75 people dedicated to being Priestesses of The Divine Feminine.Highlights included the Gnostic Mass provided by the Magdelene Minsitries with Highh Priestess Michelle Kelley presiding over a ritual union of Sophia & Christ consciousness with @110 attendees, amazing acapella singing and eucharist. I cried through most of the ceremony because of the sheer beauty of it. The Blue Lotus ceremony done by Aryshta & Adi that involved Blue Lotus Wine as a sacrament. The ritual they created was the first time in 1,600 years this sacrament has been used. I have invited them to bring their ceremony here on Dec 10th. I’m inviting all of you who would like to experience a heart field generating vision opening sacrament inside of a 2 hour healing ceremony with crystal singing bowls, to attend. The last thing I’d like to share about the FOI weekend is that the Ordination ceremony where Lady Loreon Vigne (who will be 80 soon and started the Temple of Isis), and Lady Olivia Robertson (who is 94 and started the Fellowship of Isis) gave transmissions to 55 people was amazing. The largest ordination ever done through either organization. It was so exciting to see so many people dedicating their lives and works to the Goddess. What a blessing to be in the presence of so much sincere adoration of the Divine Feminine. I realized that for me Goddess worship has now moved out of its nascent youth and has in fact bloomed into many forms of open public display with as many variations as devotees. It was incredibly supportive for me to participate in all of these magical acts.
The trip was a non-stop Spiritual Quest that concluded my first sit with Lama Tsultrim Allione. Robyn Lynn & Rick Smith joined me on Friday Night oct 14th and we received a Chod Empowerment Robyn and I stayed Sat & Sunday and participated in a study & embodiment of Prajna Paramita (the text & the Deity who is the “Mother of All Buddhas”)
By the time I landed at the Orgyen Dorje Den Temple in Alameda October 14th, I had already spent 5 days at the Isis Oasis Sanctuary in Geyserville, Practiced Chod with my new Dharma Sister Jennifer Foltz and hung out for a while with Rick Smith & Robyn Lynn.
I will gladly share photos and information about any/all of these experiences with anyone who asks me about them. I want to thank my most reliable client whose name will not be revealed but whose generous willingness to pay in advance for 3 months of service made the trip possible. Bless You!
