Stardust

Now, when I close my eyes and say the word Stardust; images of the Cosmos, Stars, asteroids, planets, spiral galaxies, and dark matter swim inside my head, but it wasn’t always so.  Many of the detailed and colorful images I now automatically see on the inside of my eyelids came to me from researching the YouTube channel created by Hubble Eyes or the NASA site Astronomy Picture of the Day

Here is my favorite Image so far, abandoned kilns:

My favorite Image from Astronomy Pic of the day

In late Spring 2011, while sitting in meditation, and contemplating my anticipated participation in an event called Temple of Unfolding I heard the word “Stardust”. I heard the word spoken clearly from a space outside my right ear, as clearly as if there were some one behind me speaking. I no longer find this clairaudience disturbing or surprising. It is almost reliable. So okay, “Stardust” but what does that mean?

After receiving this guidance I went around for a few weeks thinking it was a metaphor for something else: the STAR card in tarot decks, a blissful place you go during sex, a Dakini, or some vast complex image of a Goddess. Then while pondering the symbolism with a beloved of mine, he suggested that the Stardust might just BE stardust itself. “What?” I thought. Well, have you ever really looked into stardust? The planet we live on, this living Mother Earth, our bodies, all composed of stardust.  So as it turns out, if you’re really looking at it Stardust IS a vast complex image of the God/Goddess/“All That Is”.

The miraculous IS hidden in the ordinary.

August has been largely focused Brian Swimme’s evolutionary philosophy and cosmology:

There was also a spaceprobe called startdust that brought some of the first stardust to earth for us to study it and You can be part of studying Stardust yourself follow this link: Stardust probes 3 missions and 2011 retirement

Mycelium & Bee Updates

I feel compelled to share information I am learning from my non-human teachers the mycelium, the bees/bein and the stardust. I am no longer so interested in learning from human beings who are not focused on these and other EcoMagickal topics. I have begun to distrust their ways of knowing. I no longer believe human beings are the smartest most evolved life form on the planet. I am losing faith in my own intellectual capabilities. I have become quite identified with my own intellectual brilliance and it has not helped me obtain happiness one bit. I’m quite convinced of my own neurosis and its insistence that the meanings it invents are in fact reality. Not helpful, not healthy but quite compelling nonetheless.

What does give me hope and solace are people moving deeply into the dissolution of their own egos and merging with Nature. In past months I have linked you to Paul Stamets work on merging with Mycelium. If you get a chance check out this coming weekends Radical Mycology Convergence. You might run into Leela and I there.

I remain grateful for and intrigued by Michael Thiele & Jurgen Tautz’s work with bees/Bein, and I hope to met with them in San Francisco next month while in The Bay teaching with Tai at The 1st Annual Conference on Earth-Based, Nature-Centered, Polytheistic & Indigenous Faiths.

Other books influencing the Living Love Revolution

I also continue to read and discuss with Tai,  Sex at Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships,  Ryan & Jetha’s book on the Prehistoric origins of modern sexuality In the background of my knowing, regarding all these topics is Serena Anderlini-D’Onofrio, Gaia and the New Politics of Love: Notes for a Poly Planet which I read 2 years ago now. My own ideas about moving from the primacy of dyadic hetero-normative family units to polyfidelitous tribes 5-12 members of various ages with Transpersonal spiritual focus of radiating love and merging with nature.

Natural Patterns that it seems useful for us to study if we want to evolve and stay on the planet: Rhizomes as they are seen in “Gaia and the New Politics of Love” Serena Anderlini-D’Onofrio, Spiraling galaxies, Stars, Dark Matter & Mycelial networks again as seen in Paul Stamets work and his book Mycelium Running.

These are the shapes of the future these are the growth patterns, the morphic fields of survival. Exposing yourself to images of their beings and to media that escapes consumerism and enters the Mystical reality of the Natural World is useful and empowering. Cosmology ends up becoming what we tell ourselves about who we are. It matters, it really matters what we believe about the nature of our Being. This is what I am inspired to share with you. Come along with me now won’t you?
